I am looking for grant money that I do not have to pay back like a pell grant

I'm trying to raise money for living expenses. My tuition and books are covered but I'm 27 and live alone and would like to focus on school and not work. Any suggestions would help. I'm starting classes in June at California College San Diego.

 in response to Grobbiemar...   I am the father of a 14 year old who "exhibits symptoms consistent with Asperger's Syndrome". He is going into high school this fall and I fear for him. On top of his Aspergers he is also a super-male meaning he has two male chromosomes in every cell which in itself creates difficulties. He has also been diagnosed with ADDHD.

I have heard about camps for kids like him but lack financial resources for something like sending him off to camp.

Any help, information, resources are much appreciated.

This is the beginning of whats going to be a long, very dramatic, stressful and draining battle but I have been given no other choice. After 9 years I have finally had eNough. I am in a horrible abusive relationship that is just getting worse and is now effecting my son. I cannot continue to allow my child to live like this so I am doing what I need to do to get him into a healthy environment where he can just be a kid and not worry about things that he shouldnt even know about. I have no money or family to help me get away from this situation (which is also why I have stayed for so long) but I am hoping that this site will guide me to available resources or options that I may have and do not know about. Maybe someone that has gone through a similar situation is able to give me some insight and or hope that I made the right decision and that things will get better.
